Famoco innovates public transport
The transport sector is constantly evolving. Since the advent of the smartphone, the flagship of onboard mobility, travel habits have changed considerably. In response to these changes, French start-up Famoco, leader in secure professional Android terminals, in partnership with Kisio Digital (a Keolis subsidiary) and leader in connected mobility solutions, has developed a new-generation ticket validator: the FX925.
The FX925 is an Android-based public transport validator designed to meet the future demands of the public transport market. This intelligent ticket validator uses new technologies to access transport: NFC, barcode/QR code reader, CB payment. Fully certified for public transport (Calypso partner), the case is resistant to fire, vibration, water and dust.
Famoco chose Altyor’s ScaleUp program since 2018 to standardize and perfect the FX925’s mechanics and electronics. Altyor is also Famoco’s industrial partner for the production of the validator.
