How can I successfully industrialize my connected object?

    First point to demystify: industrialization is not production. It’s a stage in its own right that will enable us to launch large-scale production safely and securely.

    What is industrialization?

    Industrialization means designing, making reliable and putting into production all the tooling, assembly lines and test benches needed to launch production and ramp up production efficiently and safely.

    Pour la partie électronique, l’industrialisation consistera à réaliser les steels masks (masque ajouré pour déposer la pâte à brasé sur les cartes) et le montage des composants sur les cartes électroniques. Pour la partie mécanique, il s’agira de concevoir les outillages, notamment les moules d’injection, les outils de décoration mais aussi les moyens d’assemblages. Cette étape marque aussi la conception des bancs de test.

    What are the prerequisites for launching product industrialization?

    Industrialization cannot begin without a mechanical and electronic study that has been validated by a final prototype. Please note that this study and prototype must have been carried out with industrial ambitions in mind. If this is not the case, a design for manufacturing phase will have to be carried out.

    What are test benches and injection molds?

    At Altyor, 100% of our products are tested. In order to automate this phase, it is necessary to design a test bench. This has 3 functions:

    Test board integrity
    Validate product operation
    Flash the product firmware
