Bringing your product to life

Located in France, Altyor’s R&D centre brings together all the skills needed to support customers in their projects, from definition to industrial production, whatever the manufacturing means and processes, with controlled environmental impact.

The happy union of mechanics and electronics

Altyor’s expertise is based on two strengths: product vision and Design for Manufacturing. The proximity and connection of our electronic and mechanical design offices enables us to create products and not just electronic boards. Efficient and time-saving, we create functional products according to customer specifications, while drawing on our experience to make proposals.

Design for manufacturing means that Altyor takes a global approach, designing products with a view to industrialisation and production. Right from the design stage, our aim is to create a product that can be reproduced in large series and to ensure its compliance with the standards required for its use, via a qualification plan tested upstream.

More than 160 hardware/firmware bricks to build your concept

Over the past 3 decades, Altyor has built up a wealth of experience, which we put to good use in our customers’ current projects. We make these skills available to our customers to meet their technological challenges or challenge their industrial strategy, based on technical, ecological or financial criteria.

Functional prototyping, design validation

Prototyping is an inherent phase of the design process, enabling technical choices to be confirmed or the market to be tested. At Altyor, this stage takes place over a minimum of two iterations, to guarantee the product’s functionality and aesthetics.

Through its ISO 9001 quality management system, the R&D process is subject to quality control, customer validation at various milestones and the quest for continuous improvement via satisfaction surveys.

Our job : make hardware better

As an industrial manufacturer, we choose to do things differently to offer sustainable products that combine sense, eco-design and reliability. To achieve this, Altyor has developed an in-house unit with expertise in sustainable development and eco-design: Design for Tomorrow.

This unit creates and deploys tools and solutions to improve each key stage of your project, with the sole aim of reducing the environmental footprint of your product. Eco-design is one of the key skills developed within our mechanical and electronic design offices.
