Over 30 years’ experience in mechanical design
In-house mechanical engineering design office
The mechanical engineering consultancy’s expertise covers a wide range of areas: consultancy, design, development and product industrialisation.
What are our strengths? Comprehensive project management, careful adherence to the client’s specifications, and a functional prototyping phase that allows us to validate design choices and obtain a concrete representation of the product under development.

Mechanical design: a long-standing speciality at Altyor
When Altyor was founded in the late 1980s (under the name PDCi), the design office specialised primarily in plastic injection moulding. Today, the engineers work with all materials (plastic, glass, metal, etc.), regardless of the manufacturing process, thereby offering its clients expertise across all types of products.
Plastic, aluminium, zamak,
silicone, metal, wood…
and many others.
Innovative equipment for our customers’ projects
The expertise of Altyor’s mechanical teams in manufacturing processes and choice of materials guarantees high-quality industrialization of the product and compliance with customer expectations.
The designers select the CAD tools best suited to the customer’s needs. We adapt to the customer’s software using Pro/Engineer (Creo Parametric) or SolidWorks.

Close integration of the mechanical engineering department with other departments
At Altyor, the mechanical engineering department works closely with the electronics engineering department, the procurement and quality control teams, and the industrialisation department. This combination of industrial expertise provides our clients with unrivalled expertise in the integration of mechatronic products. Altyor thus guarantees confidentiality and a highly responsive service.
