Remanufacturing, giving your product a new life

The circular economy is key, because the climate emergency is becoming urgent, and because the depletion of resources is an issue for everyone.
As part of its eco-responsible Design for Tomorrow approach, Altyor offers loop solutions to give your products a new life.

Refurbishing your product

Altyor has set up a remanufacturing unit at its Saint-Cyr-en-Val site in France. The aim of this workshop is to recover a product that has deteriorated or is no longer in use, and to refurbish it by repairing, cleaning or replacing damaged parts. Once the product is back in working order, it begins a new life cycle.

What’s in it for you?

Environmental gains: the second product has a greatly reduced impact thanks to the reuse of parts from the first product.
Financial gains: remanufacturing a product makes it less expensive, since parts are reused, so less cash is tied up.
Securing the supply chain: creating your own repackaging loop will help prevent component shortages
Commercial gains: in the face of growing awareness among your end consumers, offering remanufactured products is a strong argument.

Giving your materials several lives

A product at the end of its life is made up of multiple materials that can be recycled. At Altyor, we’ve been setting up recycling loops for over 10 years, after recovering used products from our customers.

Since 2020, our recycling chain has been exclusively French. Today, our expertise enables us to offer high-quality technical materials for re-injection into our customers’ products.

2 key figures underline our commitment:

In 2023, 82% of the plastic used for our customers was recycled.
Some of our customers’ products contain 100% recycled material
