Butagaz is a French company specializing in the distribution of bottled and tanked gas, and in the provision of energy-related services.
Founded in 1932, Butagaz has become a major player in the French energy market.
Self-service is an issue in the cylinder gas market. These include user security, inventory control, fraud prevention, maintenance and user experience.
Butagaz has developed a connected lock powered by energy harvesting, with the aim of creating an intelligent solution for managing the opening of gas cylinder hatches for the domestic market. This connected lock, designed by The Keys, is manufactured and produced in France by Altyor.
Butagaz chose Altyor for the mechanical design, industrialization and production of its connected lock.
