With more than 3 million safety devices maintained each year, Desautel confirms its leadership in the sector.
To modernize fire extinguisher monitoring, Altyor was chosen to design and manufacture the mechanical components of a smart seal. This device automatically detects when a seal has been broken or maintenance is required, replacing manual checks with real-time monitoring. This solution optimizes response times and reliability, while reducing maintenance costs.
This project faced several major technical challenges: reconciling strict compliance with current standards with robustness and waterproofing that could withstand any conditions, while integrating LoRa connectivity to ensure reliable data transmission, even in the most demanding environments.
