Design of a DIAL connected bracelet

DIAL by Ido-data and carried by the SNSM, the GPS bracelet that saves lives

IDO-DATA designs alert solutions, with the aim of preventing risks and reinforcing security. IDO-DATA has developed skills in these 3 areas in particular:

use of geolocation data

use of cardiac data

use of motion analysis data

The DIAL bracelet, created by start-up Ido-data, is a geolocation/alert device consisting of a beacon inserted in a waterproof silicone bracelet. A press on the bracelet warns of any difficulty.

A press on the bracelet warns of any difficulty. The product is particularly well-suited to marine sports activities, and is endorsed by the French lifeboat association SNSM.

The electronic and mechanical design was carried out by Altyor. The mechanics are based on a design by Starck. Altyor was also chosen to industrialize and produce the bracelet and beacon. Many technical challenges surround this innovation, such as miniaturization vs. radio performance, autonomy and robustness in an outdoor and saline environment; not forgetting the user experience at the heart of this project, for ergonomic alert triggering in an urgent and complex situation.
