Expressive E has once again demonstrated its expertise in creating disruptive and innovative musical instruments. This time, the French start-up has created Osmose, a digital keyboard synthesizer in which each note is uniquely articulated.

After designing and producing the Touché, Expressive E’s first instrument, Altyor was once again chosen as industrial partner to design the mechanics, industrialize and then produce the Osmose. A technical challenge, since the instrument brings together more than 271 unique references and 1,798 pieces in all! !

Premium quality finishes were also sought, whether in materials or in the alignment of keys. The keyboard is also driven by eco-design values: there are no adhesives or glues, almost 80% of the product is made from recycled plastic, and last but not least, it features a self-diagnostic tool for easy updating and repair.

In 2025, Expressive E and Altyor brought to life a new Osmose featuring 61 keys, compared to 49 on the first version.
