What is the IoT school?
The new IoT school trains the IoT architects of tomorrow. Its objective: to help students acquire skills in electronics and embedded systems, in computer science and networks, and in data science and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Open to international students, classes are taught in English and the course lasts one year, equivalent to one year of a Master’s degree.
Why open an IoT school?
During IoT projects, dual expertise in hardware and software is essential, but this is not learned in school and specialists have a partial view of the subject. However, IoT is much more than just circuit boards,” says Yanis Cottard, CEO of Altyor.
The program was designed by Polytech Orléans and Hitachi with classes focused on the needs of companies. Some fifteen partners, including Orange, IBM, Microsoft, Thalès and AFNOR, will share their experience with students.
Our teams have got involved in different ways:
✔️ by participating at conventions to raise awareness of the school and introduce students to IoT
✔️ by helping to develop the program
✔️ by delivering classes
✔️ by supporting students on entrepreneurial projects
